Another ex-UWA mate introduced DT to me back in early 90s, which includes their seminal album "Images And Words" (1992). I singularly credited that album for being the only reason I like progressive metal. Consisting of original founding members from their Majesty days, Mike Portnoy (drums), John Petrucci (guitar), John Myung (bass) and present vocalist James LaBrie (1991 onwards) as well as Jordan Rudess on keyboards (1997 onwards). Kevin Moore, long time keyboardist as well as important lyricist, left in 1994. The technical proficiency of each individual instrumentalist members are well known, winning many awards from numerous music instrument magazines. To say that they play extremely well is an understatement. More like on superhuman level.
