Recently I managed to get a copy of this album by Stan Getz and Charlie Byrd from a local retailer. Often hailed as the album that brought bossa nova to the US audience, it still sounds as fresh as when it was first released way back in the early 60s. The single disc CD is housed in a record-like sleeve, not a CD jewel case, and contain an extra bonus track of the famous rendition of "Desafinado". Now, countless beautiful renditions had been interpreted on Antonio Carlos Jobim's "The Girl From Ipanema" and "Desafinado" but I personally think the renditions contained here got there first.
