Dylan...quite ok.

Dylan seems to be better...

Monkey Cups...2 weeks later.

Okie...updates for me monkeys:
a) Sarah ~ the most amazing...literally sprouting new pitchers!
b) Venus ~ doin fine!
c) Elvis ~ not sure...new sprout but no sign of pitcher developing yet.
d) Vicky ~ 3 pitchers were gone. 2 turned brown, 1 got crushed by Leo as I re-positioned both Vicky and Becky beneath the Ikea side table again in week 2.
e) Becky ~ poor Becky, a new pitcher seen developing was lobbed off by Leo as she could reached Becky...
f) Raffy ~ average...pitchers browning, sun spotting on its leaves, but a new sprout's developing.
g) Larry ~ doin good...the yucky "larvae" were all gone, naturally, and there are signs of new pitchers on its way.
h) Hooky ~ doin great!

Dylan...cut on his finger

...later Esther did one of the silliest mistakes ever as I knew her, cutting too deep into one of Dylan's finger nails! Dylan was pretty tough I would say, for a toddler his age, as he cried less than a fair bit, though his finger was bleeding. Esther was so upset that tears were welling up in her eyes (although she denied it). We later brought him to see Dr.Chye as usual, but he said that Dylan was havin some mild fever, so initially he was scheduled for PCV jab is postponed to next week instead...

Chloe vs Suetch...

Chloe havin some grapes...and bit Suetch on the middle finger as Suetch tried to "snatch" some from Chloe...Suetch literally brought down the house through her cries in pain.

Charity...

I like to see myself as a charitable person. In terms of cash donation. In probably between MYR1 to MYR50 max, to reduce any bad karma I may had accumulated. Usually to Buddhist affliated associations on matters such as temple building, disaster struck populations. Sometimes to the blind people who came to food centers and in return I get a calender or a box of tissue papers which I didn't care much for. I don't expect anything in return. Today, during lunch, I was approached by a teenager who shoved a file into my face asking for donation whilst I was having my rice. Now, I hate people who disturbed me during mealtime. He was asking me to donate to some orphanage or terminal disease struck old folks. He had with him this file which carried photos and paper articles of the cause. This was not the first time I was approached, generally I just waved my hand as gently as I could be, say no and the person would go on. But this teenager was pretty persistent, to the extent that he asked me to stop eating and listened to what he would say. I kept saying no but still he stood there and eventually became a contest of will power between both of us. Eventually, I had to deliberately do some body language like heavy sighing and sour/angry face...and with a face like mine, who wouldn't be scared? Of course I wasn't angry at all, just a little play acting...maybe a bit agitated that's all. He went away and somehow I consciously trailed his movement as to whether he would turn around and showed me his mid finger or utter some disparaging remarks under his breathe as a departing final shot at me (it had happened before...). He didn't. What upset me came up a while later, as at the back of my mind, I was questioning myself, is it for real or a con job, the donation I mean? What if my donation could really made a difference? I just couldn't come up with an answer but the feeling of guilt was not really nice...

Chloe and Dylan - injuries... :(

Poor Chloe injured twice...once from running about in the kitchen and hit the lower part of the dining table causing blue black on the left mouth and in the evening, fell down from the rattan baby chair, cutting the upper lips...Yesterday Dylan rolled off the bed and fell about a foot...negligence on our part as parents....

Chloe and Suetch - beating the Fat G.

Once upon a time, 2 princesses and a gecko decided to assemble Lassie together. The gecko built a train instead of a plane as per requested by the princesses. Dissatisfied, the 2 princesses proceeded to bulgeon the gecko to unconsciousness with plastic golf sticks. The end.

Monkey Cups...a week later.

Brief update...Venus is doing fine, with new sprouts and all but I am still keeping a tight watch over it. Sarah, well...after Esther asked me to "recollect" it back, I pruned off all the browned parts and cross my finger it will sprout new ones. Elvis is sprouting new leaf, and a lone pitcher can be seen developing. I abit concerned over Larry as the crickets I put into its pitchers seemed to attract flies and I could see larvaes "swimming" around! I hate larvaes of any insects! Impulsively, I nearly grab a scissor and lob off the pitchers! But, I am keeping cool and see whether it will go away eventually. Becky's pitchers seemed to be browning, not sure why but there is a new one coming. The same case with Raffy and Vicky. Hooky seemed to be doing the best, growing well and fine.
